We had the fortunate opportunity to have visitors from France recently. We met them downtown one afternoon and chatted a bit, discovering that they were having trouble renting a car. We invited them to stay with us for the evening and offered to drive them to the airport for car rental the next morning. It was absolutely wonderful. They were in town to rent a double bass before heading to NYC for a performance. We shared a meal and they gave us a private concert, allowing us to invite a small group of friends. They are wonderful musicians and wonderful subjects. Sarah has a beautiful voice and is an evocative performer. Ingrid and Sylvian play brilliantly with passion and perfect timing. It was truly a pleasure. We are staying in touch and look forward to visiting them in France the first chance we get.
