I wanted to capture the hazy, backlit look that I had walking towards the sun on the beach. I did some global toning in Bridge and very little in PS as the original was not far off the mark. The gold glow of the sand and the sparkle of the water is perfect against the shadows.

I took this at Atlantic Beach near Fort Macon. I shot at f14, 1/125 with an ISO of 200 using my Nikon D40 and an 80mm lens. I love the design that the receding waves left in the sand.
I took this because I thought it looked so colorful and yummy! (Rearn Thai has the best Thai food in GSO!) This was taken with my Nikon D40 on their outside patio.
