Here are some images I took on my recent trip to Toronto and Niagara Falls, Canada. It was beautiful and so much fun. Chinatown in Toronto was fantastic. Toronto has a lot going on. If you ever go to Niagara Falls, eat at Kool Kat’s on Drummond St (authentic Jamaican restaurant – Amazing). These are just a few of my images. Hope you enjoy!
I am staying with friends in Raleigh and Tristan, my good friend from high school, collects vintage cameras and coin banks. I saw these on her shelf and decided to rearrange a little and create something fun. I used my D40 with an 18-55 lens. This was shot at f11 at 10 seconds. I used a blur vingette and some burning around the edges for the effect I wanted. This was a fun project amidst all the surgical and medical stuff I am doing.
Macro shot of DNA
This is a macro shot of Canine DNA taken in my current internship at the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine. I shot this with a Nikon D2X and a 105 macro lens at f32, 1/100, ISO 200 using an SB800 flash. This process was amazing to see.
